Gingerbead man doll measures about 9 inches tall. He is made of unbleached cotton muslin that was very heavily aged to a blotchy spotty golden brown using a mix of coffee and walnut ink.

The gingerbread doll's facial features and 'buttons' were stitched with black embroidery floss. His 'icing' is crudely done with a snow texture pen and he wears a skinny navy, red and gold cotton homespun rag strip scarf.
