Primitive Santa Claus ornament for holiday decorating measures about 4 1/2 inches high and 4 inches wide. The Santa face is sewn from tan-dyed muslin. His nose is pinch-stitched and his eyes are small black glass beads which have been sewn on. Santa has a full beard of natual sheep's wool glued in place.

The hat is sewn from burgundy flannel and trimmed with a strip of cotton batting that has been aged with a mix of coffee and vanilla. There's a rusty star attached to the trim and a rusty bell at the tip of the hat. The Santa ornament hangs from a waxed linen loop.
