These little snow fellows are made from one of our own
patterns Four Flaky Fellows. Each snowman stands about
8" tall and is sewn from Warm & Natural cotton batting.
The eyes are black glass beads, the carrot shaped noses are
formed from modeling compound, the arms are cuttings from a
grapevine wreath and they all sport flannel scarves.
The wired aged hang tags read "Frosty Fixins." The
snowmen are finished off with a coating of mica flakes. The Frosty Fixins sets
each come complete with the 8" rustic
vanilla fluted candle pan as shown in the photos along with
three bags of fixins -- gold painted mini pine cones, rose
hips and cinnamon sticks. I like them displayed just
the way they are but if you like you can open up the fixins
bags and let your snowman sit among the fixins. However, I would
suggest a barrier (such as a piece of plastic wrap) between
the snowman and the fixins since rosehips aren't always
colorfast.

When these are covered in glass glitter, they very much
resemble sugar cookies. The snowman were made from one
of our patterns called Scatter Snowmen. The snowmen
are made from Warm & Natural cotton batting and are aged and
stiffened with a mix of tea, vanilla and fabric stiffener.
They have black glass seed beads, noses formed from modeling
compound and sturdy but slender grapevine arms. The
snowmen measure 4" and 5" and are finished with a coating of
glass glitter. (Some of the glass glitter might shake
itself loose during transit so I'll include a packet of it
in case the snowmen's "sugar coating" ever needs to be
refreshed.) The three little snowmen come with the 10"
rusty fluted candle pan as shown along with the aged stamped
hang tag, several sprigs of angel pine and a few pine cones.

The Santa ornaments are still one of my favorites to put
together -- they're based upon an older pattern by Reets
Rags to Stitches. The Santa face measures about 4"
high and are made from tan-dyed muslin. They have
black glass beads for eyes, pinch-stitched noses and
beards from sheep's wool. The Americana Santas have
calico print hats and the traditional Santas wear hats made
from flannel. The trims are from cotton
batting and have been heavily aged and stained. The
Santas are wired to small twig wreaths with a rusty star
spray and pip berries. The wreaths measures

Another made from one of our own patterns
called Head North. He is made from Warm & Natural
cotton batting with a fleece scarf and felt top hat.
The bottom is squared and weighted so that he can sit on the
edge of a shelf or the mantle with his scarf hanging down.
He stands about 11 1/2" tall (not including the scarf.) 1 available

When craft show season rolls around I make up a bunch of
these little snow faces and add them to various items that
I've collected over the year. These snow faces are on
rustic sleds. The snow faces are made from Warm &
Natural cotton batting are measure about 3" in diameter. I
didn't make the sleds -- they're manufactured but they have
a wonderful rustic look to them. The sled seats are
diagonally cut from large branches and they have smaller
bent branches for the runners. The sleds measure 10"
long and they finish up to approximately 3" in depth.
They have jute pulls and are able to hang or just sit
upright against a shelf or mantle.
Each piece is finished off with a bit of textured snow
and mica flakes. All of the sled rear views are
similar to the thumbnail shown at left.

These trees are made from a really fun pattern by Sue of
Oodlekadoodle. The trees are made from lightly stuffed
yo-yos and when they're stacked together the trees measure
about 8" tall (not including the stars) and the bases are 5
1/2" in diameter. The fabrics are mostly dark green
with black checked woven homespuns. The garlands
surrounding the trees are loosely wrapped rusty wire with
rusty jingle bells attached. The Tin-tiques stars at
the top are simply attached by the wire wrapped around them.
