The Woodland Snowmen are still one of my favorites to put together and they're made from one of our own patterns by the same name. The snowmen are made of off-white flannel and they wear fleece coats and flannel scarves. The arms are held outright by a dowel rod running through the body and the grapevine twig arms are wired around the rod.

The snowmen stand about 14 1/2" tall and have boxed and weighted bottoms. The eyes are black glass seed beads and the carrot shaped noses are formed from modeling compound. A mini vine wreath encircles the head where a tiny redbird has nested. The arms are covered with green moss where more little birdies are perched. Some of the snowmen are natural and some are finished with a coating of snow and mica flakes.

This is another made from our pattern Head North. He's made from Warm & Natural with a weighted boxed bottom so that he can sit on the edge of a shelf with his scarf hanging down below him. The snowman wears a vine wreath upon his head and is finished off with a coating of mica flakes. He stands about 8" tall (not including the scarf.)

The Forest Friends are made from one of our own Little Coon Creek patterns by the same name. He stands about 13 1/2" tall and is made from Warm & Natural cotton batting. The snowman has fleece earmuffs and mittens and a flannel scarf. The pine bough where the cardinal is nesting is securely attached to the snowman's hands. Most of the snowmen are finished with either a coating of mica flakes, snow or rainbow glitter.

Awesome star shaped covered paper mache Shaker boxes for the winter holiday season! The largest star measures 12" across and is covered with a gingerbread cookie print on a mottled burgundy background. The center star measures 10" across and the fabric is made up of Christmas motifs on a snowy burgundy background. The smallest star is 8" across and the fabric is a light tan background again with gingerbread cookies. When stacked as shown the three box set measures a tad over 12" high. The boxes have been aged with walnut ink and the edges have been sanded and aged for an old and distressed appearance. The insides of the boxes are unfinished.
